Nelson Tansu Vs. Kim Jong Un
What is the similarity between Nelson Tansu and the new leader of North Korea? Both have funky cepak hairstyles.
The Korean Central News Agency described Kim Jong-un as “a great person born of heaven,”
He was dubbed “Young General” after being made a four-star general in September 2010, then elevated to “Respected General” this year, then deemed “Great Successor” after Kim Jong Il’s death.
His latest title, as of this week: “Outstanding Leader.”
And though he’s believed to be 27, it’s expected that he will turn 30 in January.
That way it’s more mystical: Kim Jong Il would have turned 70 and Kim Jong Un will turn 30 in the year that Kim Il Sung would have turned 100. Amazing!
Kim Jong Un was publicly declared Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army on 24 December 2011.
Nelson Tansu also created a big myth by calling himself “Youngest professor”, “Genius leader”, “Outstanding scientist”, “king of self citation”.
Both Tansu and Kim Jong Un are hungry for fame and like the cepak hairstyle.
Young male professionals in Korea is now following Kim Jong-Un’s hairdo. The cut is a lot like the similarly spirited Hitler Youth haircut: short on the sides and long on top, but slicked back and held down with what looks like a large quantity of carefully applied gel.
But unlike the Hitler Youth haircut, everyone North Korean boy who requests the Kim Jong-Un from his barber is doing so because he actually wants to be like Kim Jong-Un. One newspaper called the cut “captivating,” then added “A young man with (an) ambitious high sided haircut looks so sobering and stylish.”What’s sobering is that Kim Jong-Un is being groomed (literally and figuratively) to take over his father’s role as supreme leader of the country, and if he’s popular enough for boys to want his haircut now, they’ll be more susceptible to drink his Kool-Aid as long as he and his government keep dishing it out.
Nelson Tansu also follow the latest syle by shaping his hair like Kim Jong Un.
